Customs Information
PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED GOODS
Shipper’s presence is required at the time of clearance, together with a valid passport and necessary import documents.
All electrical items and rugs/carpets are to be mentioned on the packing list, showing makes, serial numbers, M2, type, quality, etc.
For shipments originating from European Community Countries, a T2L is required.
Shipments Originating from “Third Counties” are taxable/dutiable with the following options:
- Only Greek citizens who have been living in a non-EEC country for the last two years are entitled to a “certificate of repatriation” in order to avoid taxes/duties.
- Clients working for companies that have a contract with Greek Government have Duty-Free entry for their shipments.
